Abstract There is a need for blood biomarkers meningioma. The role of circulating micro RNA in cancer diagnosis has been the objective several studies. One extensively studied miRNA different types microRNA-497 (miR-497). This study systematically evaluated miR-497 as meningioma biomarker disease and classification. We exosomal serum 74 samples (WHO grade I=25, WHO II=25, III=24), 53 healthy controls. also tested two normalisers, endogenous external, their impact on diagnostic value miR-497.
